Orepuki is located between Riverton and Tuatapere on the coast of Te Waewae Bay, sitting at the foot of the Longwood Range.
Once a thriving settlement of 3000 people during the gold mining era, Orepuki is now home to a small number of permanent residents with farming being the main industry.

About Us
Orepuki Community Promotions Charitable Trust Board was formed in 2021 to promote the community. This includes putting on events, supporting improvements in the area, promoting the area and any events, ideas, meetings and services, and also to provide and promote the Orepuki area to visitors and newcomers.
Creating a brochure and this website has been part of the work undertaken by the group to help achieve the above.
